Ali Rowe, who has made over 100 appearances for the first XV and is pictured, is in the extended squad for the RBS Premier B match against Glasgow Hawks on Saturday (Myreside, 3pm).

Due to a number of injury doubts the starting XV and subs will not be known until nearer kick-off.

However, second-row/back-row Mark Johnson is back along with Rowe. They both missed the Premier B opener with Heriot’s two weeks ago. Stand-off Ben Di Rollo is also in the extended squad after he was a late call-off against Heriot’s due to a severe migraine.

Front-row men Scott Laird and Tom Wright are still injured, while Samoan back-row Paul Tuala is unavailable.
