It is with sadness that we report the passing of Alastair Headrick who died recently in Colchester
Alastair captained Glasgow Accies in season 1952/53 playing alongside Jimmy Thomson
In season 1954/55 he played in the Glasgow Accies side that shared the Unofficial Championship playing alongside such as Hamish Dawson Bill Mann Andy Innes and Jim Belch
During his career he represented Glasgow on many occasions including playing for the Combined Cities against the All Blacks at Old Anniesland in 1953
