Derby agony for GU. GU were defeated 31-28 by local rivals Strathclyde last night at Scotstoun in a tremendous advert for student rugby. In an end to end Scottish Uni's league match Strathclyde took and early 10-0 lead only for Glasgow to storm back with tries by Euan McKean, Theo Nwosu- Hope and Sam Bullock two of which were converted by Kyle Henderson. HT 19-10 Glasgow. The second half belonged to Strathclyde with three converted tries to three Kyle Henderson penalties. The touch line conversions of Strathclyde full back Grant Mollison proving decisive. All in all a great match for the large touch line support who braved the freezing conditions
