Edinburgh win the Inter City. Glasgow University RFC travelled through to Peffermill in Edinburgh to take on their Edinburgh counterparts in the first competitive league fixture between the two old rivals for a few years given that Edinburgh having been playing at a British Uni level up until this season. A very tight first half ended evens at 3-3 but a try just after half time and one at the death meant Edinburgh took the honours by 18-3. However another spirited performance from Glasgow and with new Development Manager, Stephen Leckey now in place the squad will gain in confidence moving forward.
