Welcome to another new GROGS season - our 17th, believe it or not!
Your committee has toiled tirelessly throughout the long hot summer to produce a full and interesting programme for this coming year. Details will be in the fixture card you'll be able to collect at the first Lunch. This will take place on Wednesday 12th September and,as usual,it is at the GHA clubhouse at Braidholm. The timing is 12 noon for a prompt start at 12-30pm.
If you enjoyed Jim Robertson, the final speaker of last season, then wait till you hear Willie Allan MBE. As well as being a rugby man, Willie is a well known after dinner speaker. The Herald described him as "probably the best after dinner speaker in Scotland". If you want to know why then come along on !2th September.
With Johnston Sime in the chair it is likely to be a day to remember and an epic start to the new season.
As numbers are growing month by month it is important that you let me know whether or not you are coming. The final date for applications will be Sunday evening 9th September as this will give us time to advise the caterers on numbers.
New members and guest will be welcome.
