HAWKS SUMMER CAMP 17

We are pleased to announce details of this year's Hawks Summer Camp, which will be run by our excellent Community Rugby Development Officer Gary Strain and his dedicated team of coaches. This year the camp will be again at our home, Old Anniesland, boasting terrific facilities for the players.

The camp is open to players from all clubs and schools.

We are aiming to build on last year's successful camp with Players put into 4 age-banded groups, from Primary 4 where the kids will receive key rugby skills through a variety of fun, game based sessions which keep everyone involved and active, right up until the U16 players who will receive an intense week of pre-season training, including a physical and skill development programme.
Each age group will have a head coach who has either professional rugby or full time rugby development experience. They will be assisted by other coaches from our First XV and strive to improve the players in all areas of the SRU's key national themes

The camp is ideal for anyone who loves rugby and is looking for an action packed way to spend the last days of the school holidays, ready for the season ahead!

Dates: Monday 31st July - Friday 4th August 2017. 9am till 4pm

Age Range: Suitable for years P4 to U16

Cost: £165 per child (£135 per additional sibling) for the whole week.
Daily rates also available for players who are not able to take part for the whole week.

Breakfast (from 8am) and a hot lunch (12-1pm) will be provided by Mr Allan James in the Jimmie Ireland Stand.

There will be prizes and momentoes to mark the players' participation at the camp.
