We are pleased to announce details of this year's Hawks Summer Camp, which will be run by our excellent Community Rugby Development Officer Gary Strain and his dedicated team of coaches. This year the camp will be held at the beautiful setting of Lochinch in Pollok Park, due to ground improvement work being carried out at Old Anniesland. Lochinch is a fantastic facility offering great pitches and a well appointed pavilion to cater for the camp.

The camp is open to players from all clubs and schools.

We are aiming to make this the biggest and best camp yet with Players put into 5 age-banded groups, from Primary 4 where the kids will receive key rugby skills through a variety of fun, game based sessions which keep everyone involved and active, right up until the U18 players who will receive an intense week of pre-season training, including a physical and skill development programme. Every single age group will have a head coach who has either professional rugby or full time rugby development experience. These coaches assisted by other coaches from Glasgow hawks first XV will strive to improve the players in all areas of the SRU's key national themes

The camp is ideal for anyone who loves rugby and is looking for an action packed way to spend the last days school holidays, ready for the season ahead.

Age Range: Suitable for years P4 to U18

Cost: £165 per child (£135 per additional sibling) for the whole week.
Daily rates also available for players who are not able to take part for the whole week.

Breakfast (from 8am) and a hot lunch (12-1pm) will be provided by Mr Allan James.

There will be prizes and momentoes to mark the players' participation at Lochinch.
