Close games at OA and Laigh Bent.

This weekend was a break week in the Tennent’s Premiership providing a much needed break in what has been an intense run of match for our young squad. For some however it was an opportunity to get some more game time under their belt.

On Friday night at Old Anniesland Calum Duke, Scott Briggs and Matt Holland ran out for Glasgow Accies in their N2 derby against GHK. The home side edged the match 6-5 in a hard fought encounter.

On Saturday Hamilton hosted GHA in N1 in what was an exhilarating fixture won by the visitors 50-47! Great effort from both teams in an exciting game featuring 18yo Max Priestly and Tom Decelle (pictured) for Hamilton. The lads were up against Hawks teammate Dan York who made his debut for GHA at hooker. Dan carries the bragging rights to Hawks training at Craigholme on Tuesday night ahead of our home game on Saturday against Melrose.
