Update from around the grounds.

Away from Malleny Park there were a number of players at their dual registered clubs.

Glen Faulds claimed the bragging rights for Falkirk against Hawks teammates Scott Briggs, Paul Henderson (both pictured), Calum Duke, Jack McCready and Erlend Oag who ran out for Glasgow Accies in a closely fought encounter.

Over at Laigh Bent, Hamilton defeated Boroughmuir in National Reserve League 1 with Kevin McCann, Tom Decelle, Max Priestly and Murray Godsman playing for the Bulls.

Down in Dumfries Gavin Wilson made a welcome return after injury layoff with his home team in their win over GHK in N2. Walter Gilbert ran out for the Old Anniesland team’s 2nd XV down in Dumfries.

At Dumbreck Kristian Kay started at 9 for Cartha Queens Park in their N1 match against Dundee HSFP.

Scott Peffers played for Hawick Harlequins in their home defeat to Berwick while Jacob Siems helped continue West of Scotland’s good start to their N3 campaign in an away win at Haddington.

Valuable gametime and contributions for their teams and we welcome the lads back to Craigholme on Tuesday in what will be a big week at training after the disappointments at Currie.

Our next match is at home at Balgray this Saturday when we welcome Watsonians FC. 3pm ko.
