Scottish Club Cap Lewis Skinner heads for Australia

Lewis Skinner joins a long line of Hawks who have played in Australia incl Campbell Aitken Ally Maclay Greg Francis Gordon Macfadyen Steven Findlay Ruaridh Wilson Sam Thomson and Brendan Cullinane

Hawks wish Lewis Skinner all the best on his trip to Oz.

He goes out to enjoy a season playing for Gordon rugby club where fellow Hawk Ruaridh Wilson also played and the likes of Stirling Mortlock and Dane Haylett-Pety have come through to represent Australia. He leaves on the 7th of April and will return to join a Super 6 club.

Lewis joined Hawks 2 years ago and has immersed himself into the club. No one has worked harder to develop their performance and it has resulted in him being one of the best props in the league as proven by his selection to the Scotland Club International Squad.

Hawks will always be about developing players to achieve their goals and Skinner is just another example of this.

Outstanding work from Steven Findlay in helping to set this up and shows the opportunities available to guys that play at Hawks.

So all at Hawks wish Lewis luck with his new chapter and challenge
