Last night saw the start of the U20 Interdistrict championship and The Glasgow and the West boys faced a trip to Lasswade to face off against the Borders. While Edinburgh faced Caledonia.

After a tough opening 15 mins for Glasgow, they weathered the borders storm and the points started to rain in. Although a few Scores were left out there, Glasgow managed to rack up 43 points with Hawk's Josh Henderson pulling the strings from outside half.

A magnificent defensive effort against a decent Borders outfit saw the Glasgow line remain uncrossed.

Fellow Hawks Jack Solman and Paul Cairncross are also involved in the Glasgow U20 extended squad but were unavailable for this match.

In the other game Hawk's Matt Fagerson was prominent for Caledonia in a narrow loss to Edinburgh.
