Teams from Anniesland have travelled to Ulster for a long while in fact since 1873 when one of our founder clubs Glasgow Accies first ventured there to play North of Ireland

Over the years both Glasgow Accies and Glasgow H.S.F.P./ GHK continued this tradition on a regular basis with Instonians played at Ravenhill(now Kingspan Stadium) in 1926 just after the ground opened in a match billed as Scottish Champions v Champions of Ulster
The War Memorial Gate at Ravenhill would have held great significance for members of our founder clubs

In more recent times Hawks have played Malone and Belfast Harlequins
This year the tradition continues when Hawks travel to play Ballynahinch this Saturday at Ballymacarn Park,
