The 29-year-old back-row, who scored a try in his club's European Champions Cup defeat to Harlequins on Saturday, arrived at the team hotel last night (Sunday) ahead of the national team's three-day camp at the Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility in Motherwell.

The Scotland medical teama also provided an update after the players checked in from the weekend's European Cup action.

The following players require further assessment and treatment, and will return to training this week as they become available: David Denton (calf), Alex Dunbar (concussion), Dougie Fife (leg), Robert Harley (knee/ankle), Sean Maitland (shoulder), Matt Scott (shoulder), Alasdair Strokosch (shoulder), Greig Tonks (concussion), Ben Toolis (back).
