The Scotland U19 team to play France U19 at Meggetland, Edinburgh this Saturday (14 April) has been announced.
Saturday’s match will be the final instalment in the team’s three-game programme this season. In their first match against Scottish Students, Scotland U19 took the win, followed by a draw with Romania.
Saturday’s match will be a real test against a big and physical French team.
Scotland U19 is strengthened by the selection of several players with U20s experience, including Callum McClelland, Rory McMichael, Marshall Sykes, Harry Butler and Murphy Walker – who has also represented Scotland U18 and U20 in recent months.
The game offers an opportunity for all of the players to stake a claim for a place in Scotland’s U20 squad for World Rugby U20 Championship 2018, which will take place in France from 30 May - 17 June.
Scotland U19 v France U19, 2pm, Saturday 14 April, Meggetland. Kick-off is 2pm and entry is free.
