Stirling County look to anchor themselves in top place

BT Premiership leaders Stirling County are on the road tomorrow as they look to push-on at the summit of the top-flight division against Heriot's at Goldenacre.

Second placed Ayr return home to Millbrae where they'll face Hawick in the second Bill McLaren Shield match of the season. Glasgow Hawks were the holders of the trophy coming into the new campaign but lost to Ayr last weekend, 18-20 at Balgray.

Gala, Currie and Melrose are the remaining home sides. At Netherdale Gala play Glasgow Hawks, Boroughmuir travel to The Greenyards while an Edinburgh derby between Currie and Edinburgh Accies kicks off at Malleny Park.

All matches kick-off at 3pm.

Some 12 senior professional players have been released to BT Premiership clubs: Al Kellock, Tyrone Holmes (both Glasgow Hawks), Ben Toolis (Heriot's), Rory Hughes, Adam Ashe (both Stirling County), Carl Bezuidenhout (Boroughmuir), Kevin Bryce, Tom Ryder (both Currie), Chris Dean (Edinburgh Accies), Connor Braid, Murray McConnell and Fergus Scott (Ayr) will all play in the top division tomorrow.
