Warriors Downey to coach at Accies

James Downey who played as a drafted pro for Currie against Hawks last Saturday is to join the coaching team at Glasgow Accies

James signed a 2 year contract with the Warriors in June this year: he began his career at Leinster, spent time at Connaught and Calvisanno in Italy before making 148 appearances for Northampton. After 5 seasons at Franklin's Gardens, which included a European Challenge Cup Winners medal in 2009, he made 47 appearances for Munster in just 2 seasons.
