Comments on selection - The front row continues to rotate and Chris Barnes starts this week with the experienced Gary Strain at loosehead and Steven Findlay being rested. The outstanding Matt Smith plays at 7 while Sean Yacoubian earns the number 9 jersey in the face of stiff competition following some excellent performances. The similarly-impressive Stephen Leckey makes his return to the squad. Gregor Hunter plays at stand-off with Glasgow U20s centre Max MacFarlane claiming the 12 spot.

Comments on match - Another challenging game awaits Hawks at Old Anniesland against a Selkirk side whose league position belies some of their performances. Peter Wright will have his troops fired up as he returns to his old stomping ground, so it is vital we focus on our game and early work rate. The weather has been superb in Glasgow recently and is set fair for Saturday. With our pitch in first-class condition there is a golden opportunity for some high-quality rugby and we are looking forward to building on our dramatic win at Currie last time out.
