Seeing the calibre of players stepping up, along with the passion behind the scenes to create a top-quality environment, made me eager to be part of something truly special.

I’m fortunate to have some of the best coaches in Scotland supporting the programme, and I’m confident we can achieve success and help a number of lads push for Club International selection.

I’m passionate about showcasing the talent in this region and helping players develop to the next level. It’s a great time for the club game, especially with the buzz building around it — The Offside Line are doing a brilliant job introducing coaches and players, creating storylines that will hopefully bring more attention to club rugby. Ideally, that exposure will attract new supporters, sponsors, and more players keen to test themselves at the top level.

With the district programme returning, feeding into the Club International, and the Scotland 7s programme back in action, there’s now a clear pathway for players to show what they can do and push on to higher levels and I’m passionate about supporting that.
