Those staying with Hawks for 2019/20

With a ‘Signing a Day In a May’ coming to an end it’s important to remember some of the guys who have committed and signed on for next year to help Hawks be competitive next season. Starting with the forwards:

Andy Kirkland has been a stalwart of the club and has to be one of the busiest second rows in the league.

Gary Strain who returned to Hawks after spells with RC Massy and Newcastle Falcons is dominant scrummager on either side of the scrum.

Club Captain Stephen Leckey who is an ex Ireland U20 missed most of last year and was a real loss to the squad.

Paul Cairncross who received interest from Super 6 is a great in the set piece and has learnt his trade behind some great pro hookers in Grant Stewart and Jack MacFarlane.

Gary Adams who has been a round the block for a number of years with Gala and Hawks is a powerhouse carrier.
