Dan Smart gets the call

Scrum half Dan Smart is set to make his international debut after being called into the England Counties squad for their two match tour of Georgia. England play the first game against the Georgia national side on Friday, June 7th and again on June 11th. Smart was drafted into the squad following the withdrawal of Cornwall's Jack Oulton and joins six of his Kent County team mates, Tom Williams, Danny Heriott, Jack Daly, Steve Leonard, Kieron Moffat and Nathan Thomas on the tour. The England Counties side is chosen from players at National Division One level and below and is the flagship of the community game in England. Dan is completing his studies at Canterbury Christ Church University where he is one of seven Canterbury players in the successful scholarship partnership between the club and the university.
