The 8th edition of the Tournoi des Capitales, the world's leading 7-a-side tournament for U16 male players and U18 female players, will take place in Paris from 22 from 24 September 2017.

The 2017 edition will feature 16 teams (8 male and 8 female) representing no less than 11 countries from all round the world !

Boys' teams:
Brussels, Buenos Aires, Colombia, Glasgow, Heidelberg, Paris Region, Paris City, Sydney.

Girls' teams:
Heidelberg, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan (national selection), Lancashire U17 & U18, London, Paris Region, Netherlands (national selection),

The 2017 tournament will pursue a partnership initiated in 2015 with France's First World War Centenary Partnership Programme, by commemorating those foreign soldiers who fell, far from home, on Europe's battlefields. On 26 September, a group of young Australian and French players will rekindle the flame on the tomb of the unknown soldier under Paris' Arc de Triomphe.

The Tournoi des Capitales is supported by the City of Paris, the Paris Region (Région Île-de-France) and the French Sports Ministry, and by a number of private partners.
