Tom Howie

It is with deep personal sadness that I have to tell you that Tom Howie passed away yesterday.

Tom has over so many years given so much to Hawks and to Scottish Rugby.
He had involvement with Glasgow Accies, Kilmarnock / Ayrshire and Hawks.

Tom was Chairman of selectors for the old Glasgow District and Chairman of Hawks when they won the first of their hatrick of league titles in 2004.

In 2005 Tom was given a special award for service to Rugby in Glasgow.

Tom continued to support Hawks in so many ways through thick and thin- a real club man.

More will be said about this later but for now all our thoughts are with Aileen and all the Howie family as they come to terms with their loss.
