Comments on selection - Andrew Redmayne earns a start at 2nd row with Andrew Linton rotating to our bench. Paul Ramsay finally makes a comeback to the wing following his lengthy injury spell carried over from last season and some impressive performances in the 2nd XV. Tyrone Holmes and James Eddie are released by Glasgow Warriors as part of the draft and will start the game alongside Fin Gillies in the back row. A couple of players are rested but the changes and rotation gives us a strong bench this week.

Comments on match - Mansfield Park is never an easy place to go and get a result and Nikki has forged a good rugby-playing Hawick side. With the BT Premiership proving highly-competitive again and the relative league positions of the two teams this is a big game. We will need to challenge them in every department to have any success but the players are very aware of this and to be fair to them they have put in a big shift at training. All to play for and undoubtedly a game not to be missed.
