Match preview

By Jordana Dunlop

Club captain Andrew Linton starts in the 2nd row with the experienced Stephen Leckey claiming the 7 jersey as Matt Smith picked up an injury in the 'A' game against Edinburgh yesterday. Exciting young prospect Bruce Flockhart makes his starting debut at 8 following good performances including game time in yesterday's 'A' fixture for Glasgow Warriors. Elsewhere the team looks very familiar with a strong bench too.

Comments on game -

Following another frustrating and disappointing result at Old Anniesland last week despite some patches of excellent rugby we have to move on to the next important fixture. By their own standards Gala haven't been firing on all cylinders but we know what they are capable of and an away fixture at Netherdale is inevitably a tough challenge. George Graham is very honest and passionate about his team and undoubtedly he'll have them bursting to go out and produce the goods against us. Our team has some very clear objectives and their efforts at training have mirrored these by way of preparation. It will be an interesting battle on what is a first-class Gala surface.
