Comments on selection - Competition for places is hotting up and one or two players are unlucky to miss out this week. Glasgow Warriors have released James Eddie and Peter Murchie. The highly-experienced Paul Henderson earns his place on the bench in the front row while Jack Steele returns from injury.

Comments on match - The players were delighted to win the Bill McLaren Shield at Goldenacre last week in a tough match against the current champions. Despite such a pleasing and dominant performance it is crucial we focus on this week's job and the task of performing with the same work rate and intention in what is a must win tie. Currie sit in fourth position and that all-important play-off place. They are a difficult side to crack and of course will be desperate to hang on to their position. While we may have other ideas these will only be achieved with maximum commitment and effort, and that has been made very clear to the Hawks players this week.
